Machines are associated with efficiency. Nowadays, their intelligence measured in the number of artificial neurons. We propose a different approach to designing machines through radical embodiment. Synthetic systems act autonomously in an environment. They experience their surroundings entirely with their bodies. While experimenting with various materials, we explored potential possibilities.
