In terms of language education, the diversity of Switzerland offers great possibilities that are not fully exploited. I chose to embrace this opportunity and imagined QUIS, a playful solution to the lack of direct and spontaneous exchange when learning a language. QUIS is a mobile application that supports what students learn at school and allows them to practice on their own. It takes the form of a guessing game that connects two native speakers of different languages and helps them improve their language skills by interacting with each other, via video or texts. It is a social platform combined with a gamification aspect to help build mutually beneficial relationships and improve the motivation to learn.
