Where the River Hides
Rivers worldwide are facing the consequences of human intervention and climate change. Droughts shrink them, flash floods reshape them. These extremes isolate aquatic life and threaten biodiversity. In Switzerland’s Töss River, the effects are increasingly visible, even as restoration efforts continue. This project explores design responses to these disruptions, creating prototypes that ask how rivers might reclaim space and agency in a changing climate.
