Engage with a Living Brain Organoid and Experience How Biology Can Shape Modern Computation

⭐️ Special Mention at the Förderpreis 2025
⭐️ Nominated for the SDA Award 2025

This globally unique installation allows you to directly communicate with lab grown clusters of living neuron cells – so-called brain organoids. By interacting with an artificial skin, users create impulses that are sent to the organoid, whose reaction is reflected back as movement in the same membrane.
By making this newly emerging field more transparent, we encourage reflection on a sustainable and organic future where biological material is being proposed as a solution for modern-day computing.
