Shape Changing Surfaces and Structures
In May 2019 Karmen Franinović and Luke Franzke presented their paper at the ACM CHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems in Glasgow Scotland. Their paper "Shape Changing Surfaces and Structures: Design Tools and Methods for Electroactive Polymers", summarised several years of work with electroactive polymers from Interaction Design ZHdK, and introduced methods and tools to facilitate their use in creative applications. The paper was awarded an Honourable Mention by the ACM for its contribution to the field.
