Interacting with Electroactive Polymers in Responsive Environments @ TEI conference in Phoenix, Arizona || March 17-20, 2019 || by Karmen Franinović, Luke Franzke, Andrés Villa Torres and Florian Wille
An immersive interactive art installation with Electroactive Polymers was presented by Luke Franzke and Andrés Villa Torres at TEI, the conference for tangible, embedded, and embodied interaction in Pheonix, Arizona. An immersive and interactive soundscape responded to the movements of visitors, with a synthetic organism at the centre of the installation. This synthetic animal-plant hybrid was composed of Electro-Active Polymers, built onsite at the conference.
