Fluid Morphologies
IAD exhibition in Washington DC
On November 5th, Luke Franzke and Dino Rossi from IAD presented an exhibition of interactive material technology at the Philips collection in Washington DC. Morphing objects composed of novel, shape changing materials were presented in the museum which is better known for showing works from Picasso to Van Gogh.
The shape changing materials and objects displayed generate fluid movements that open up new visions for art, architecture and design. The exhibition includes work from ZHDK alumni Florian Wille and Dominique Schmutz, as well as new work developed by Dino Rossi, Luke Franzke and Karmen Franinović.
