BA & MA Major Interaction Design
The Interaction Design degree program at the Zurich University of the Arts is positioned at the intersection of multiple disciplines and offers a comprehensive education that tests and expands the boundaries of design.
Within 6 semesters in the BA Major, you will engage with topics such as service design, interfaces for a wide range of media, soft architecture, embodied interaction, active materials, and interactions at the interface with the environment. Your studies focus on pioneering technologies and trends, introducing you to a human-centered design approach as well as an approach that goes beyond the human. The MA Major Interaction Design at the Zurich University of the Arts gives you the opportunity, over four semesters, to pursue an in-depth, research-oriented education, enhancing your methodological, conceptual, and technological competencies. Through close ties to research areas such as Embodied Interaction and Immersive Experience, you will have the chance to apply and expand your expertise in interdisciplinary settings.
