Entangled Machines

A Search for Uncanny Conversations in Nature and Beyond

The current enthusiasm for AI and new technologies is unparalleled, but it is easy to overlook the fact that non-human intelligence already exists in the environment. Posthumanist thought, which questions the traditional human-centric perspective, offers a framework to rethink our relationship with the environment and formulate approaches that recognize these non-human entities. This research endeavors to translate these thoughts into the realm of design, where innovative ideas can be developed to address the complex challenges we face today.
Embedded within this framework, “Entangled Machines” engages with emerging technologies and ecological principles. The project aims to reimagine our relationship with the world and discover different ways of coexisting with the non-human. A search for pushing the boundaries of what it means to be human and to explore the possibilities of a post-anthropocentric future.
