Studio 4: Inter-Action
Studio 1: Inter-Action and Studio 4: Inter-Action is a pooling module that introduces students to explorative, critical, and knowledge-oriented design processes. The module emphasizes the development of students' creative and thematic interests, encouraging them to expand their design repertoire and apply these skills to their individual thesis projects. Throughout the module, students will critically analyze and explore the tools, skills, and production methods of both current and emerging technologies. This includes a focus on the analysis of social phenomena, as well as the prototyping and testing of ideas.
The topics covered in this module are dynamic and evolve yearly to align with current research interests, allowing students to engage with immersive experiences and alternative forms of narration and storytelling. The resulting projects may take various forms, including essays, films, artefacts, or performances, providing a platform for students to experiment with and articulate their creative vision through contemporary design research practices.
