«60° Celsius» explores blood as an aesthetic and culturally charged material by means of design. What normally disappears down a drain, is poured, dried and moulded here. The resulting objects show blood as a substance with a metallic lustre, and a lively structure and expression. This work invites us to take a fresh look at the seemingly repulsive – between disgust, beauty and the question of what we perceive as valuable.
