ZHdK Alumni nominated for the Swiss Design Awards
We are delighted to announce that ZHdK Design Alumni Jordi Theler and Joshua Amissah have been nominated for the prestigious Swiss Design Awards in the categories "Graphic Design" and "Communication and Scenography". Both have successfully completed their Bachelor's degree in 2021, Jordi in Visual Communication and Joshua in Trends & Identity.
We are particularly proud of Joshua, whose final project "Black Masculinities" was not only awarded the ZHdK Förderpreis Design, but is now being published in collaboration with the prestigious publishing house Hatje Cantz. Over the past two years, Joshua has curated the 320 book pages with impressive photographs by 22 international black artists.
The book "Black Masculinities" will be published during Art Basel from 12 to 18 June 2023 in Hall 1 of Messe Basel. Those who would like to secure it now can do so via the crowdfunding platform WeMakeIt.
